Continuing Education for Teachers Immersion with Seane Corn
Continuing Education for Teachers Immersion with Seane Corn Instructor: Seane Corn
Learn the fundamental principles of vinyasa flow yoga and how to teach it in a responsible, creative, and heart-centered way. This training explores the three realms of consciousness--physical/mental, energetic/emotional, and psychic/symbolic--and how to utilize these principles in your personal practice and the classroom. Applying these tools can help you to teach asana more clearly and intelligently, maintain an organized and well-paced vinyasa sequence, use spiritual themes to facilitate insight, and guide your students to reach into the heart through intention, reflection, and prayer. This training is designed for teachers who are open in the journey of yoga beyond the body.

Kundalini Yoga: Piercing the Veil of our Conditioning
Kundalini Yoga: Piercing the Veil of our Conditioning Instructor: G.H. Geyer
We do not see things as they are, but as we are. As humans, EVERYTHING we experience is filtered through the biological medium of our nervous system, and the nervous system learns through feedback. These perpetual and incessant feedback loops eventually condition our perception of reality. Just like Pavlov's dogs, we find ourselves responding to every internal and external stimulus we perceive, and something or someone is always ringing our bell. As a result of this biological design, we can easily become reactive, unsettled, and unclear. Kundalini Yoga dissolves our neural triggers from the inside out through the practice of pranayama, kriya, mudra, and mantra. In this practice our minds become steadier, our perception becomes clearer, and our hearts become more loving and strong.

If we understand the human organism, we know that the mind alone cannot heal the mind. We cannot just decide to be happy and find that suddenly all of our destructive moods, unhealthy habits, and negative emotional disturbances have disappeared. Recurring physiological states become enduring psychological traits. This is how our cells become selves. Kundalini Yoga pulls you up at your root and cuts through the Gordian knot of your most stubborn and resistant neural blockages. But the modern approach of dissecting a body of knowledge and studying its components in isolation prevents us from truly understanding yoga. The result is that we have come to mistake a part of yoga for the whole of yoga.
