Yoga and the Awakening of Kundalini Shakti

Taken together, the practices of yoga--asanas, pranayamas, bandhas, mudras, and meditation--are designed to help us gain access to the core of our being, the infinite pool or beauty, bliss, and power known as kundalini shakti. But the modern approach of dissecting a body of knowledge and studying its components in isolation prevents us from truly understanding yoga. The result is that we have come to mistake a part of yoga for the whole of yoga. Pandit Tigunait, in his keynote speech, will share with us the integrative approach to learning and practicing yoga so that we can experience the total range of its benefits including physical fitness, mental clarity, and identifying and awakening kundalini shakti.
