This extraordinary three-day event will feature Anusara yoga founder John Friend and many of the top certified Anusara yoga teachers in the United States, including Jamie Allison, Kenny Graham, Amy Ippoliti, Martin Kirk, Noah Maze, Christy Nones, Todd Norian, Ross Rayburn, Desiree Rumbaugh, Mohini Saltonstall, Christina Sell and Sianna Sherman. This year's theme is the celebration of Art through the body. Each day, the Gathering will feature a master class with John Friend, inspiring philosophical talks by the Anusara scholars, early morning meditations, break-out classes with certified Anusara Yoga teachers, and outdoor adult play-ground, live music, special guests, and evening entertainment. The 2010 Anusara Yoga Grand Gathering experience will take the entire Anusara yoga community to new levels of creative artistry and delight.


All attendees are automatically enrolled for each master classes with John Friend
and the morning group meditation.

The sacrum bone, located at the base of the spine, transfers the weight from the upper body to the legs with tremendous versatility in yoga practice. In this workshop we will look at the connections from the sacrum to nearby parts of the body, how the sacrum moves in yoga and in daily life, and how the Universal Principles of Alignment help to maintain optimum health in this pivotal part of the body that is often the source of lower back pain.
