Restorative Yoga Therapeutics involves carefully sequenced, artfully propped restorative yoga postures designed to balance the nervous system and emotional body. These therapeutic postures also deepen the relaxation response, reduce anxiety and stress, alleviate depression, and enhance immunity. This class offers a brief outline of the science behind why restorative yoga works so powerfully. In the restorative practice that follows, you'll learn poses that are ideal for anxiety, insomnia, depression, and lymphatic flow. You'll also experience basic breathwork techniques and guided meditation to help access your mind-body network and awaken your innate wisdom and healing capacity.
