Leading with Authenticity in Challenging Moments

Authentic leadership is not based on a role, position or title. It is about bringing who you are to how you lead. This powerful approach to leadership is accessible to anyone who has the courage to show up, listen and engage fully. We all face challenging situations in which our authenticity, integrity, and courage are on the line. How do we typically respond in these moments? How do we want to respond? Based on in-depth interviews with business, non-profit and government leaders, and her own leadership experience, Susan Skjei will share essential practices that foster self-awareness, compassion and confidence in challenging times and can make all the difference in the moments that matter. In this experiential workshop, we will also explore how authentic leaders can contribute directly to organizational results by fostering trust and promoting learning when the "going gets tough." Leading with authenticity is a choice as well as a practice. Participants will learn how to develop the strength and confidence to show up authentically when it really counts and how to bring these skills into their lives and work.

Happy Hour Event: "Stumbling Toward Samadhi" - a world premiere movie event

Natura WinesIndia is arguably the most vibrant and chaotic country in the world, where the extremes of humanity all mingle and collide in a tumultuous cascade of people, religions, cultures and ideas. Yet somewhere in the middle of it all, the western world searches for stillness and bliss.

Join the YogaSlackers (a bunch of yogic athletes as eclectic as mother India herself) as they embark on a journey to race an "auto rickshaw" smack dab through the middle of it all. Perhaps careening around at 30 mph on a glorified lawnmower isn't the best way to go about finding eternal peace...

Krishna Das Concert

Layering traditional Hindu kirtan with instantly accessible melodies and modern instrumentation, Krishna Das has been called yoga's "rock star." With a remarkably soulful voice that touches the deepest chord in even the most casual listener, Krishna Das--known to friends, family, and fans as KD--has taken the call-and-response chanting out of yoga centers and into concert halls, becoming a worldwide icon and the best-selling chant artist of all time. His latest album, Live Ananda, was Grammy-nominated for Best New Age 2012 album, and the documentary film One Track Heart: The Story of Krishna Das is being screened around the United States and other countries this year. He is also the curator for Krishna Das Yoga Radio, channel 360, on SiriusXM radio.

"Chanting is a way of getting in touch with yourself. It's an opening of the heart and letting go of the mind and thoughts. It deepens the channel of grace, and it's a way of being present in the moment."
-Krishna Das
