Eight Limbs of Yoga
Aadil Palkhivala & Rod Stryker - Course ID: AFEIGH

Friday, November 12 — 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday All-Day Intensives

Limbs 1 through 4 with Aadil Palkhivala | 8:00am-12:00pm
Traditionally, students were not allowed to practice asana or pranayama when they first began their yogic quest. The great masters wisely believed that until aspirants had applied the yamas and niyamas to their lives, they were not ready to handle the powerful nature of asana and pranayama. Yama and niyama are the foundations of all yoga practice. Aadil will teach the yamas and niyamas from a new and deeper perspective so that the following practice of asana and pranayama is more meaningful.

Limbs 5 through 8 with Rod Stryker | 2:00pm-5:00pm
The ultimate experience of yoga is revealed through the final four limbs of ashtanga yoga. When understood and practiced according to the ancient teachings these steps become effortless and unlock limitless rewards. Through lecture and practice, we'll explore the hidden teachings that demystify limbs 5 through 8. Our focus is applying the sublime wisdom to become a seamless extension of asana and pranayama which unfolds the profound potential of the final steps of yoga.

What to bring: A blanket, a strap, a sticky mat, and a block.
