Restorative Yoga Therapeutics is designed to balance the mind, nervous system and emotional body. It's carefully-sequenced, artfully-propped restorative yoga postures also deepen the relaxation response, reduce anxiety and stress, alleviate depression, and enhance immunity. In this class, you'll learn the principles of Restorative Yoga Therapeutics including key therapeutic sequences for relieving anxiety, insomnia, and depression. You'll also experience basic breathwork techniques and guided meditation to help access your mind-body network and awaken your innate wisdom and healing capacity.
CE credits are offered for psychologists and social workers
Elemental Yoga is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Elemental Yoga maintains responsibility for this program (FEFORB) and its content. This program offers one (1) CE hour for psychologists. This program is also approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Provider #886459124) for 1.5 continuing education contact hours.
What to bring: Bring a bolster or 2 to 3 blankets (or the equivalent), a strap, an eye pillow, and 2 blocks. Asana, pranayama, restorative yoga, lecture.

Invite fresh air and a spirit of exploration into your yoga practice. On this magical, mystical yoga tour, we'll sweat, breathe, and explore the natural, architectural, and cultural wonders of Central Park, the most famous park in the world. This unique 120-minute workout integrates the cardio of hiking with the power of yoga. Along the way, we'll settle into four different yoga stations designed to stretch, open, and challenge our bodies. We'll be outdoors, so wear comfortable layers and walking/running shoes.
Rain or shine. Mats will be provided. For an optimal experience, the group will be capped at 20.

Yoga doesn't always have to so serious. Beginning with 45 minutes of vinyasa flow and ending with 45 minutes of yin yoga, we'll explore the lighter side of life. You'll hear fun stories (with titles like "The White Snake" and "Cher's Onesie") inspiring quotes, and great music to engage you while you release deeply embedded tension. As you emerge from a long Savasana, you'll enjoy the latest flavors from Vosges Haut-Chocolat and embrace how a beautiful, funny, and delicious moment each day keeps the stress away.
