Morning Meditation with Sylvie Boisclair

Vedanta-Inspired Meditation
Great rishis (sages) reminded us that meditation, just like sleep, cannot be taught. Nevertheless, great teachers (swamis, mystics, and so on) have given us a step-by-step procedure that helps us dive into this mental and psychic boon. During this meditation, you'll be guided into seeing beyond name and form so you can dive into Bliss Absolute (ananda), which is one of the goals of yoga. Learn to become the witness of the thoughts as they come and go without becoming attached to them. This powerful practice will last throughout the day and beyond.

An Evening with Caroline Myss: Healing as a Mystical Science

We are living in an era in which healing needs to be understood, and taught, as a mystical science--that is, a science that includes an understanding of the power of the soul. The healing arts are now a part of our culture. They are a potpourri of wisdom, ancient remedies, modern knowledge, and allopathic medicine. Beyond this emerging alchemical pharmacy is the added fact that our consciousness has evolved. When we are ill, we seek out those who understand that the body/mind/spirit function as an integrated system. Our healing process inevitably draws us to matters of the soul, including the power of our soul to participate in our healing. In this illuminating evening, we’ll investigate healing as a mystical science. Just as allopathic medicine follows laws and exact systems, so does the mystical science of healing. The mystical laws function with the same precision as physical laws, only they govern the realm of the psyche and soul. We'll discuss the nature of miracles and the profound influence of prayer. The evening will close with a healing session with a book signing to follow.

We're delighted to begin this unique evening with the talented Sandra Joseph singing "Think of Me" from The Phantom of the Opera. This iconic song is featured on Your Creative Soul: Expressing Your Authentic Voice, the newly-released audio teaching program from Sounds True which Joseph cocreated with Caroline Myss.
