Join Yoga Journal in this continuation of Naropa University's Radical Compassion Symposium, where you'll learn how to bring this freedom into the world. In this engaging discussion, you'll discover how today's visionaries are incorporating yoga and mindfulness into the highest levels of professional sports, business, and philanthropy to create a more compassionate and mindful global community. Don't miss this unique opportunity to explore and share techniques used by some of the world's leading companies and organizations.

The panel features Sharon Salzberg, celebrated meditation teacher and New York Times bestselling author; Jeff Walker, philanthropist and co-author of The Generosity Network; George Mumford, sports psychologist and mindfulness teacher for the New York Knicks; and Gopi Kallayil, chief evangelist for brand marketing at Google.

There will be an opportunity for audience Q&A and the panel will share meditation techniques and practices.

$10 in advance; $15 at the door.
Proceeds from this evenings events will benefit Insight Meditation Society and Cambridge Insight Meditation Center.

Doreen Foxwell, founder of The Children's School of Yoga, started teaching children's yoga 11 years ago creating one of the largest children's yoga programs throughout the Hudson Valley and now available nationwide. Srikala is an emcee, DJ, producer, and percussionist. Srikala uses Ableton Live to perform his original music, improvising live with Indian percussion and ambient vocals. His projects incorporate dub, hip-hop, reggae, world beats, and sacred mantras. His mission is to uplift, open hearts, and move bodies.

Join Sandhi Ferreira as she shares her love of yoga, acrobatics, and aerial dance with this fun and healing practice of Aerial Mukti Yoga. In this 30-minute interactive demo, you’ll see how the practice of asana with a yoga hammock is extremely therapeutic as it can relieve compression and elongate the spine and have an opportunity to fly. Dangling in the air naturally promotes childlike laughter—all are encouraged to try!

An Evening Benefit for "Be-a-Light" Solar Lantern Project
Join vinyasa pioneer Shiva Rea and beloved NYC DJ Tasha Blank for a rejuvenating evening of meditation, yoga, and tribal house music to tap into the power of abundant renewable energy as we connect to our inner light and solar power. This evening benefits "Be-a-Light" Solar Lantern Project, empowering youth in the United States and eradicating kerosene lamps in East Africa through yoga energy activism and Solar Aid. The lamps will bring some light to youth who are facing cancer at Comprehensive Center for Wellness Pediatric Oncology, Columbia University Medical Center, as well as lighting the night for school kids in Tanzania.
