Legendary yoga teacher Sri Dharma Mittra first encountered yoga as a teenager before meeting his guru in 1964 and beginning his training in earnest. Sri Dharma founded one of the early independent schools of yoga in New York City in 1975 and has taught hundreds of thousands the world over in the years since. Sri Dharma is the model and creator of the Master Yoga Chart of 908 Postures, the author of ASANAS: 608 Yoga Poses, and the creator of two DVDs to date: Maha Sadhana, Levels I and II. Divine knowledge will slowly purify the mind by removing doubts, which instantly triggers inner peace and spiritual bliss. This is the gradual beginning of the end of pain and delusion. Come experience amazing postures designed to elevate the state of consciousness and promote radiant health and energy. We'll also practice divine breath control, which will gradually purify the nerves and control the mind, and maha mantras (sacred sounds) that affect the body and mind, touch the soul, and stimulate the chakras. During meditation in Savasana, body and material sensation will gradually disappear and the mind will be set into silence.

Experience divinely selected yogic techniques, practiced under the guidance of an expert teacher, which will lead to incredible physical, mental, and spiritual rewards. We'll open Maha Sadhana with the chanting of divine mantras. Next comes esoteric wisdom to help set the right vibration for practice. A deep experience of asana will follow, including the best of all the postures. After a brief period of relaxation, we'll practice Nadi Shodhana Pranayama, the most efficient nerve-purifying pranayama. We'll end with a rich experience of sacred guided meditation in Savasana and culminate in a joyous offering and demonstration of yogic postures.
