The Hilton New York is a sophisticated international hotel conveniently located at Radio City Music Hall and Rockefeller Center, and in the midst of business headquarters and media centers. The hotel is also near Broadway theatres and Times Square, one block from Fifth Avenue shopping, and steps from legendary attractions such as the Museum of Modern Art, Central Park, and Carnegie Hall.
Yoga Journal has a block of discounted rooms reserved for our group at the Hilton New York. We encourage you to make your reservations early and mention the Yoga Journal Conference to receive the special group rate of $261.16 (single or double) plus tax; Guest rooms are limited. This discounted room rate will be offered a space-available basis until Wednesday, March 28, 2012. All lodging must be booked directly with the hotel—book on-line or call 212-586-7000 or 1-800-HILTONS. A non-refundable first-night deposit must be made with your credit card when you secure your reservation.

Getting to the Conference by air
The Hilton New York can be easily reached from La Guardia, John F. Kennedy, and Newark airports. Taxi fair ranges from $35 (La Guardia) to $65 (Newark) not including tolls/gratuity. Shared shuttle service is available from all three airports through Airlink for under $25 and can be booked online. With advance reservations through the Hilton Transportation Desk at 212-247-0897, a return Airlink shuttle service is also available from the hotel.
Getting to the Conference by public transit
The Hilton New York is also centrally located, on 6th Avenue between W. 53rd and W. 54th. We recommend taking public transportation to the conference--the B, D, E, F, N, Q, and R trains all stop near the hotel.
Getting to the Conference by car
24 hour parking at the Hilton New York (valet) is $51.00 for hotel guests and non hotel guests, and includes in and out privileges.

Meals
Meals at the conference are not included in tuition. There are four restaurants on the premises and many dining options in the area surrounding the Hilton.
Massage and Bodywork
Method Fitness at the Hilton New York will provide an assortment of massage and wellness services to Yoga Journal attendees during the conference. Please call 212-261-5903 and mention “Yoga Journal” to receive a 15% discount.
Yoga Gear and Props
Yoga mats are not provided. We strongly suggest that you bring a yoga mat and any other props you use in your regular practice. See course descriptions for other required items. Some of these items will also be available for sale on-site during limited marketplace hours.
Once you Arrive to the Conference
When you arrive at the Hilton, you must first stop at the conference Registration Desk to pick up your badge and your event guide, which includes complete schedules and locations. Your badge will be your only admission to classes and events.
Continuing Education Credits
Main Conference classes at this event are currently under review for CECs for athletic and fitness professionals through ACE (American Council on Exercise).
All classes in the conference count as continuing education credits for Yoga Alliance. Simply save a copy of your class record (either your badge or confirmation email.) Yoga Alliance will contact you when they need you to submit your continuing education information. Separate certificates are not needed for Yoga Alliance.
