kraftsow Gary Kraftsow began his study of yoga with T.K.V. Desikachar in 1974. As founder/director of the American Viniyoga Institute, he teaches classes, leads workshops, and trains teachers in the Viniyoga approach to yoga and yoga therapy. He is the author of Yoga for Wellness and Yoga for Transformation, and he designed the protocol for the National Institutes of Health study on low-back pain.
