Therapeutic / Mixed Levels
Learn carefully sequenced, artfully propped restorative yoga postures designed to balance the nervous system and emotional body. These therapeutic postures also deepen the relaxation response, reduce anxiety and stress, alleviate depression, and enhance immunity. We'll start with a brief outline of the science behind why restorative yoga works so powerfully. In the restorative practice that follows, we'll learn poses that are ideal for decreasing anxiety, insomnia, and depression, and improving lymphatic flow. You'll also experience basic breathwork techniques and guided meditation to help access your mind-body network and awaken your innate wisdom and healing capacity.

Friday Evening Classes
Hiking yoga brings fresh air and a new spirit of exploration to our practices. We'll sweat and breathe up and down the hills of San Francisco. Then we'll settle into four different yoga stations designed to stretch, open, and challenge our bodies. This unique 90-minute workout integrates the cardio of hiking with the power of yoga. We'll be outdoors, so wear comfortable layers and walking/running shoes.
Rain or shine. Mats will be provided. For an optimal experience, the group will be capped at 20.
