Come learn about your digestive system and how you can use yoga to foster healthy eating habits. A tailored asana practice can help you maintain, or improve, your digestion. Stress-reduction techniques, including restoratives and breathwork, reduce the stress hormones that may cause poor digestion or trigger stress eating. Mindfulness practices help you tune in to your body, and can help you learn to eat the foods that are best for your particular needs and circumstances.

Osteoarthritis can affect any joint in the body, from the toes all the way on up through the neck. Come learn more about osteoarthritis and how yoga can help you maintain, and perhaps even increase, your mobility in affected joints, while at the same time managing your pain. We'll move though all the important joints of the body, using simple, accessible yoga asanas to strengthen the muscles around joints and maintain flexibility and mobility while nourishing the joints themselves.

In the morning portion of this class, you'll learn how to maintain strength, flexibility, balance, and agility as you age by focusing your asana practice. In the afternoon, we'll focus on stress management and cultivating equanimity. Supported inversions, restorative yoga, and deep relaxation foster physical health and spiritual well-being. Mindfulness practices and yoga philosophy enable us to face life's vicissitudes with grace and composure.
