Amanda Giacomini has over 15 years of study and practice in the yogic arts, and is the cofounder of Yoga Toes Studio in Point Reyes, California. She offers a vinyasa flow practice that is creative, playful, and nurturing. Her gentle and intelligent adjustments make her classes and workshops accessible to everyone, regardless of age and physical ability. Her primary influences are from the Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Anusara, and Siddha yoga traditions. Amanda is also an artist who has illustrated an award-winning series of children's books about her dog, Mo. With specific asana sequences for each deity, along with their myths, mudras, and mantras, we'll learn how to incorporate these archetypal energies into practical understanding for everyday life. In the morning, we'll have an up-tempo practice, with backbends and arm balances. Afternoon asana will dive into hip openers, twists, pranayama, and meditation. Join this sacred pilgrimage into the temple of your own being.
