Before You Register
Before you register via one of the methods below, you will need to know which specific classes you would like to take during all sessions of the conference. You must pre-register for all classes.
Please read through the Choose Your Classes pages, or download a brochure. If you are interested in studying with specific teachers,
please visit the teacher pages to see which classes they are offering.
How to Register
Once you know which classes you would like to attend, there are four ways to register:

(Faxed registration forms will not be processed after January 18th.)

Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment in full must accompany registration.

Session Selections
Course ID codes appear with each course description. When registering by fax or mail, you must indicate a first, second, and third choice for each session. We will make every effort to place you in your first choice. For ease and convenience, we recommend online registration where second and third choices are not required. A confirmation letter will be emailed to you immediately after your registration is processed.
Class Changes
There is a $10 fee each time class changes are made after your initial registration.
Refunds and Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing to Horizon Conferences 1107 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO 80302 or via email to yoga@horizonconferences.com. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your cancellation; keep this confirmation of your cancellation.
Cancellations received on or before January 6, 2010 will be issued a refund, minus a $100 processing fee. All requests for refunds must acknowledge an understanding of the $100 processing fee.
Cancellations received after January 6, 2010 will not receive a refund but may be under consideration for a voucher toward a future Yoga Journal conference, valid for one year, minus a $100 processing fee.
Last-minute cancellations must be received via email before your first scheduled class in order to be considered for a voucher. All voucher consideration will be completed after the conference, and all supporting documentation for voucher requests must be received by February 8, 2010. No refund or voucher will be given for no-shows.
Continuing Education Credits
CE credits offered for athletic and fitness professionals
Yoga Journal is recognized by the American Council on Exercise (ACE ) as a continuing education specialist, and is currently under review for CECs for athletic and fitness professionals. Stop by the Registration Desk at the conference for information on CECs provided by ACE. Certificates will be available for $15 each.

CE credits for Yoga Alliance
For Yoga Alliance credits, simply save a copy of your class record (either your badge or confirmation email.) Yoga Alliance will contact you when they need you to submit your continuing education information. Separate certificates are not needed for Yoga Alliance.
If you need a certificate of completion for another purpose, they are available at the Registration Desk at the conference and must be requested and picked up at the conference. Any certificate not picked up at the conference will be mailed on request for a $5 fee.
Waiver of Liability
Registrants of this conference and all Yoga Journal events must understand that there are serious risks associated with all physical activity and that, when practicing yoga, one may suffer minor or serious injury. Registrants must understand these inherent risks and assume that for all such risks associated with participation in any activities in conjunction with the Yoga Journal conference, all employees, Active Interest Media, volunteers, instructors, and agents are exempted from liability.
Photography/Videography Release
By attending the 7th Annual San Francisco Conference, January 28-February 1, 2010, you agree to the following:
As a participant, I understand that my image may be used in association with additional editorial and
promotional materials. In consideration of my appearance, and without my further consideration, I hereby
grant permission to utilize my image in connection with said promotional and editorial materials in any
and all manner and media through the world in perpetuity. I agree that my participation in the event may be edited at the discretion of Yoga Journal. I expressly release Yoga Journal, Active Interest Media, Inc., its agents and employees, licensees, and assigns from and against any claims that I have or may have for invasion of privacy, defamation, or any other cause of action arising out of production, distribution, broadcast, or exhibition of this event. I agree that all resulting intellectual property is the sole property of Yoga Journal.
