Although different asanas utilize and confront gravity in different ways, they often share a lot in common. We'll explore how the influence of gravity teaches different things in a variety of asanas. This knowledge can be applied to help a student master a single asana. Mastery of inversions is NOT required.

Come on an exploration of the yogic quality of sattva (clarity and illumination). The balance of effort, surrender, and relaxation brings us into a sattvic state— a state of deep peace and benevolence of spirit. We'll explore sattva in forward bends, from the simplest to the most challenging. Students should have at least one year of experience. Mostly asana.
