Martin Kirk, MSBME, RYT, is a Senior Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor who travels nationally and internationally offering workshops, Immersions, Anatomy, Therapy and Teacher Trainings. With a Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Martin has a special gift for anatomy and therapeutics. He is the author of the highly successful book, Hatha Yoga Illustrated and the upcoming Anusara Yoga Anatomy Manual. Martin's love for yoga shines through his exuberant teaching style with precision and clarity. Martin and his wife Jordan live in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Like the arches of a great cathedral, our pelvis supports the majority of our body weight. Under these stresses, pelvic misalignments can lead to problems with the SI joint, piriformis, and psoas muscles. Through skillful application of the Universal Principles of Alignment, we can optimize pelvic function in our practice and teaching of yoga.
