Probably no pain is more common in yoga practice than lower back pain. We'll study the anatomy of the area, identify common reasons for pain, then practice with this awareness and apply therapeutic movements as needed.

What is yoga, and why do we do it? We'll help answer this question by introducing the basic philosophy of asana and the wider practice of yoga. We'll practice challenging poses in a fun and easy way, learning how to slowly build strength in your arms and shoulders. Bring a block , two blankets, and a strap.
