The Sacred Seam of the Inside Leg
Instructor: Tias Little
Thursday, September 25
9:00am-4:30pm: All-Day Intensives
Code: TILITT
All Levels

The inner leg gives access to the front of the spine and holds the chi of deep reserve. But due to excess fatigue and stress, the inner leg is typically tight, weak, or collapsed. We'll open the channels of the inner leg and energize the meridians that run the inner length of the leg through dynamic and restorative postures. Bring a strap and a block.

The Frog
Instructor: Tias Little
Friday, September 26
11:00am-1:00pm: Main Conference - Session 2b
Code: M2LITT
All Levels

In Zen practice the frog is the quintessential form—flexible, open hips, and an unruffled mind. The yoga posture devoted to the frog—Bhekasana—is a powerful pose to free restrictions in the hip, low back, and shoulders. Come and learn to embody the elasticity and the silence of the Frog. Bring a strap and block. Mostly asana.

Lumbar-Sacral Blues
Instructor: Tias Little
Saturday, September 27
8:00am-10:00am: Main Conference - Session 4
Code: M4LITT
All Levels/Therapeutic

Lower back strain is frequently due to pulling in the hamstring, outer leg, and buttock. We'll map patterns of strain in the legs and apply dynamic and supported postures as remedies for the torque and compression that compromise the sacrum and lower back. Bring a strap and a block. Discussion and asana.

Side Ways
Instructor: Tias Little
Saturday, September 27
10:30am-12:30pm: Main Conference - Session 5a
Code: M5LITT
All Levels

Freeing the side body in yoga is key to opening the core. If the side body is hemmed and bound, the inner body has no room to expand and open. Beginning at the outer heel, along the outer leg, waist, trunk, neck, and skull, we'll aim to release the sides of the body in order to allow the interior to open. Bring a strap and a block. Mostly asana.

Uddiyana and the Inner Knee
Instructor: Tias Little
Sunday, September 28
10:00am-12:00pm: Main Conference - Session 7
Code: M7LITT
All Levels

Learn how the lift in the arch of the foot, inner knee, and groin can achieve greater lift in the abdomen. We'll map the interior leg and its relation to the core spine, and practice opening this most interior channel in the body. Bring a strap and a block. Discussion and asana.
