The arms and legs are powerful conduits to the spine when the alignment is good. Find out how to plug the arms and legs into the torso to create integration and strength, and how to use them properly in backbends so that they are the pillars of the spine. We'll practice a progression of backbends, culminating in Upward Facing Bow pose. Mostly asana.

Learn to center your thigh bones into their hip sockets through a variety of arm balances. Each arm balance requires a specific hip opening. With good sequencing, the arm balances and other hip openers will create balanced hip joints. Come and play! Mostly asana.
