Some yoga disciplines work toward greater stillness of movement in the mind and body. Superficially, vinyasa seems to contradict this. However, the mental focus and physical technique needed for continuous, fluid movement can also bring great stability. The stability is not only in the posture, but also in the transitions between postures, where there is no distinction between movement and stillness. Mostly asana.
